Our Satin Airway Buffing Wheel is a must-have when restoring hazy metals subjected to the elements, such as wheels.
It is a natural follow-up to Surface Prep Buff & Blend Discs, blending and feathering lines left by the initial cutting step. Satin Airway wheels also create the bridge into Orange and Yellow Airway polishing, producing a finish comparable to blended 220/320-grit sanding before polishing.

Initial cut
Use a Medium Blue Buff & Blend Disc when the surface needs the first cutting step.
Very Fine
Move to the Maroon Satin Airway wheel to begin blending the initial preparation marks.
Ultra-Fine
Follow with the Black Satin Airway wheel to feather the surface further—equivalent to a blended 400/600-grit sanding before polishing.
Polish
Continue with Orange and Yellow Airway Buffing Wheels, or Red and Pink Airway wheels on steel.
