These specialty stitched buffing wheels employ a high ply-count (60-ply for most cases, 55-ply for the Mo' Money buff). This high ply count creates a very dense, but still very soft buffing wheel that can be used as a cut. color, and finish wheel. These wheels are robust enough to cut out 600 grit sanding marks and can be used during a the finish stage with a simple liquid polish, such as our EZ Red Sprayable Metal Polish.

The increased density of buffing wheel allows for more efficient polishing that isn't overly aggressive. These wheels are to be run at a lower RPM range, thus allowing for more control of the buffing wheel while lessening the possibility of burning the polishing compound. These wheels are both user-friendly and extremely effective.

Renegade Buff-It: 40-Ply Spiral-Sewn UBM Wheel (60/60) (aka Jimmy Buff-It)

The 40-Ply Renegade Buff-It Spiral-Sewn Buffing Wheel and its 60/60 UBM fabric construction is meant to be used mostly as a coarser, soft cutting wheel and is spiral-sewn to increase the wheel's durability during use. 

Renegade 10" Stiffy: 40-Ply Spiral-Sewn UBM Wheel (86/80)

The 10" Stiffy Spiral-Sewn Buffing Wheels are ideal for bringing color and luster to your metal surfaces. It's made from an 86/80 UBM fabric construction (finer than the 60/60 weave) and is also spiral-sewn to increase the wheel's durability during use.

Renegade Big Fluffy: 14" 20-Ply Domet Flannel (Stitched Center)

The Renegade Big Fluffy 14" Domet Flannel Buffing Wheels are ideal for bringing a fine, showroom worthy finish to your polished metal surfaces. It's made from a soft Domet Flannel that is woven in the center so that the outer edge can provide a soft, open finish. 

Pairing buffing wheels with polishing compound correctly:

These buffing wheels should be used at "cut" buffs in the first stage of the polishing process. They are meant to be paired with our T88 Brown Tripoli Bar or our T121 Fast Cut Tripoli Bar. Those in humid environments or those looking for a "drier" cut bar should employ the T121 Fast Cut Tripoli Bar while those in milder climates may choose to go with the T88 Brown Tripoli Bar.

MAKITA 9237C- The best 3,500 RPM polishing machine (PROS & BEGINNERS) 

MAKITA GA7021 - The best 6,000 RPM polishing machine (PROS) 

Sewn Buffing Wheels should be run at approximately 2,000 to 2,200 RPMs.
