SAFE OPERATING SPEEDS
Stay within the wheel’s RPM range
Always use safety flanges when mounting a buffing wheel. Safety flanges reduce the chance of warping the wheel’s center plate and help keep the wheel securely in place.
A buffing wheel rake should be used to prime the wheel to accept compound and to free the wheel of buildup when necessary.
CARE + MAINTENANCE
Keep the working edge clean
Remove accumulated compound with a buffing wheel rake, following its instructions in a secure, controlled setup. A clean wheel accepts fresh compound more effectively and helps produce a consistent finish.
